SoundWave Studios began with a simple vision: to create a recording haven where artists could feel inspired, supported, and empowered to bring their sonic dreams to life. Founded in 2010 by Amelia Stone, a Nashville native with a lifelong passion for music and audio engineering, SoundWave Studios quickly became a cornerstone of the city's vibrant music scene.
Amelia's journey began in her teenage years, experimenting with recording equipment in her basement. She honed her skills at Belmont University, earning a degree in Audio Engineering Technology. After graduation, she worked at several prominent studios in Nashville, gaining invaluable experience before deciding to strike out on her own. She envisioned a studio that prioritized artistry and collaboration above all else.
From its humble beginnings in a small, renovated space on Music Row, SoundWave Studios quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional sound quality, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to artist development. Over the years, we've expanded our facilities, invested in state-of-the-art equipment, and assembled a team of talented audio engineers, producers, and musicians who share Amelia's passion for excellence.
Today, SoundWave Studios is proud to be one of Nashville's leading recording studios, serving a diverse clientele that includes Grammy-winning artists, independent musicians, voiceover professionals, and podcast creators. We remain committed to our founding principles: to provide a creative, collaborative, and technically superior recording environment for artists of all genres and backgrounds.
